Editing one of his films, Chaplin Studios 1918
Charlie Chaplin performed all duties when it came to his films:
Actor, director, producer, editor, composer, casting, costume, make-up and most important, financed, he had no backers therefore he could take as much time as he wanted, not having to worry about being pushed to get the films out in time.
It is said he was the first and to date the last to have full creative control over the film making process.
By the titles of the books, appears Charlie Chaplin is in France circa late 1960’s / early 1970’s.
